Inverloch Schedule Notification By Noobity Published: January 9, 2007
Print Email
The artist behind the dramatic comic Inverloch, Sarah Ellerton, has had a recent job change and along with her new found hour woes, is having a bit of a rough spot in finishing the fantasy story. From her recent post on her main page "I'm going to be up front and honest and say that drawing Inverloch no longer holds the joy for me that it used to." She goes on to stress that she will finish the project, however updates are no longer guaranteed, which I'm assuming may push back the conclusion of the tale past the January 2007 approximate completion time.

A new webcomic called Erfworld: The Battle for Gobwin Knob recently launched on the Giant In the Playground Games website, alongside the long running Order of the Stick.
Written by Rob Balder of PartiallyClips and drawn by Jamie Noguchi of Angry Zen Master, Erfworld seems to be an interesting mix of fantasy storytelling and gag comedy. Be sure to check it out!

Toys and games pour into children's hospitals through gamer-supported Child's Play charity By Michael Meyers Published: December 8, 2006

More than $495,000 worth of toys, games and books on the wish lists of more than 35 participating children’s hospitals have already been purchased as part of the gamer supported charity, Child’s Play.
Next week, the Child’s Play charity auction dinner is expected to enable the purchase of more entertaining goodies for sick children as attendees bid on rare and hard to get items including a new Nintendo Wii game system autographed by the company’s infamous President and COO, Reginald “Reggie” Fils-Aime, a speaking line in the Halo 3 videogame under development by Bungie Entertainment, a Sony PlayStation 3 and an appearance in a Penny Arcade comic strip.

PvP: The Animated Series announced, slightly ironic... By StacMaster-S Published: November 27, 2006
Print Email
After a more secretive announcement (a video on YouTube buried within yet another god-awful Blamimation), Scott Kurtz officially announced today that PvP: The Animated Series is on its way.
The show is being co-written and co-produced by Kurtz and Kris Straub (Starslip Crisis), and is being created and financed in-house by Blind Ferret Entertainment, the company which also happened to finance Ctrl+Alt+Del: The Animated Series. As such, the PvP animated series is using the same "subscribe now, receive later" plan which was successful for CAD.
Part of me just can't get over the sheer irony of this actually happening. It seems like only yesterday Kurtz and Straub were bashing the idea of making an animated series with this kind of payment/delivery system.

New stuff at MacHall By Noobity Published: November 24, 2006

Tying into the last article of news I wrote, it seems there's an easter egg that was posted about two weeks ago. If you click the period in Matt's first rant section, you're brought to a photobucket comic called (I believe) 3PS? I'm very confused about it, and quite frankly am a little worried why they didn't actually announce it anywhere, but I like the comic.
The link for the comic is here, and I'm only posting it on a public forum because I'm afraid they might want input and wont be getting it because, hell I couldn't even find it at first. I check the site every day and two weeks later notice the link. So check it out, maybe send em an email. It's a very good comic in my opinion and something that should be allowed the chance to continue.
